Seller Terms

1. Application

These Seller Terms apply to approved artisans and partner brands offering products through BK Store. Registration does not guarantee approval. BK Store selects the sellers, brands and individual products that fit the marketplace philosophy and may decline an entire catalogue or any product without creating an obligation to list it.

2. Seller identity and status

The seller must provide accurate legal name, public trading identity, address, electronic contact, telephone where available, identity verification, payment details, tax information, trade-register information where applicable and a truthful declaration of professional-trader or private status. BK Store may request further verification and suspend sales until completed.

A person manufacturing or selling regularly for commercial purposes may be treated as a professional trader even if they are an individual and do not operate through a company. Misclassification is a material breach.

3. Seller as contracting party

For artisan and partner-brand marketplace products, the identified seller enters into the sales contract with the customer. BK Store provides the marketplace interface, selected catalogue management, payment collection, communication, review and dispute tools. BK Store is the seller only where a product is expressly identified as sold directly by BK Store.

4. Marketplace commission

The planned standard marketplace commission is 15% of the product price and paid personalisation options. No marketplace commission is charged on the shipping amount. The applicable fee and any tax legally due on BK Store’s service will be shown in the seller onboarding or fee schedule accepted before sales are activated. No additional seller fee will be introduced for a completed transaction without prior disclosure.

5. Prices, VAT, tax and invoices

The seller is responsible for its own tax status, VAT treatment, invoicing and records for marketplace sales. Consumer prices must include applicable VAT and mandatory charges. Sellers authorise BK Store to display or calculate the final price using the customer’s delivery country and the platform’s approved tax configuration. BK Store may provide transaction statements but does not replace the seller’s tax obligations.

6. Listings and catalogue control

Listings must be accurate, complete and current. The seller must provide product identity, manufacturer and EU responsible-person information where required, materials, photographs, options, family or variation prices, stock or availability, dimensions, weight, preparation time, estimated delivery, personalisation rules, return eligibility, warnings and safe-use information. BK Store may edit presentation, request corrections, translate content, reject changes or remove a product.

A partner brand may authorise an approved feed, API, file or connector to synchronise selected catalogue fields. Synchronisation does not automatically approve every product. BK Store controls which products and variations are published and may pause an item when data becomes incomplete or inconsistent.

7. Product families and variations

A listing may contain families, sizes, colours, materials, configurations or other variations with separate prices, stock and identifiers. Every combination offered must be manufacturable or available and must display all additional charges before purchase. Sellers must not use variations to hide a materially different product or misleading price.

8. Product safety and legality

The seller warrants that every product is lawful, safe, authentic, properly labelled and compliant with applicable EU rules. The seller must retain traceability and supporting documents, report risks immediately, cooperate with warnings and recalls, and bear its legal responsibilities and costs. BK Store may suspend a listing without advance notice where a credible safety or legal concern exists.

9. Orders and personalisation

The seller must follow the recorded order and final personalisation instructions. For personalised products, the seller selects and displays a correction or cancellation window and must not mark an order In production merely to defeat a timely correction. Changes that affect price or delivery require the customer’s recorded agreement before work continues.

10. Shipping

The seller configures supported EU destinations, carrier, shipping price, preparation estimate and delivery method. The seller remains responsible for the parcel until delivery unless the customer independently appoints a carrier. Tracking must be added when available. Exterior packaging must be secure and discreet. The seller may include its own brand, care instructions, contact information or promotional material inside the package, but not unlawful, misleading or third-party advertising.

11. Holiday mode

Holiday mode blocks new orders and must show the planned return date. It does not suspend accepted orders. A seller unable to meet an existing estimate may request one extension of up to 15 calendar days. The customer may accept the revised date or cancel for a full refund where the agreed date cannot be met. Essential dates disclosed before purchase remain binding unless the customer agrees otherwise.

12. Returns, faults and guarantees

The seller must configure product return information but may not reduce mandatory rights. Professional sellers must honour applicable withdrawal and conformity guarantees. Personalisation and hygiene exceptions must be justified and disclosed before purchase. The seller bears required costs for faulty, damaged, unsafe, incorrect or misdescribed products and must provide an authorised EU return address for each approved return.

13. Messages, customer data and marketing

Customer data may be used only to manufacture, dispatch and support the order or meet legal duties. Sellers must not add customers to external marketing lists or contact them for unrelated purposes without valid consent. Sellers may include their own promotional material inside the delivered parcel as permitted above. They must not publicly expose order messages or personalisation details.

14. Reviews

Sellers cannot delete reviews. They may respond or report content for BK Store moderation. Sellers must not fabricate, buy, reward, pressure or suppress reviews. Negative but genuine feedback is not a valid reason for removal.

15. Disputes and administrative authority

Sellers must respond to order issues and cooperate with evidence requests. BK Store’s administrator may decide the internal outcome, authorise returns, issue refunds, hold or release funds, and deduct relevant amounts from current or future seller balances. This does not remove the parties’ statutory rights outside the platform.

16. Payouts, refunds and reserves

Payout timing and status will be displayed in the seller dashboard and depend on successful payment processing, identity verification and the absence of an unresolved refund, dispute, chargeback, safety issue or legal hold. BK Store may reserve only the amount reasonably connected to such a risk and will release undisputed funds according to the approved payout schedule.

17. Suspension and termination

BK Store may hide a listing, pause payouts or suspend an account for false information, unsafe or prohibited products, repeated non-fulfilment, misuse of data, review manipulation, intellectual-property infringement, fee circumvention or failure to cooperate. Urgent action may be taken without advance notice; otherwise BK Store will provide the reason and an opportunity to respond where appropriate.

18. Changes and acceptance

The seller must accept these Terms and the current disclosed fee schedule before activation. Material changes will be communicated in advance and will not retroactively change completed transactions.
